Health & Safety Advisor
We are looking for exceptional talent to join our team. We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to supplement our Health & Safety department. The role involves working full-time hours, Monday to Friday. You’ll be based at our head office in Ossett, West Yorkshire, but you’ll be traveling across the UK for site visits and meetings, so flexibility is required. Due to the nature of this role, we understand there will be an element of homeworking necessary to successfully deliver in this position.
We’re offering a salary £30,000 to £40,000 and a car allowance of £5,000 per annum.
The Role – What will I be doing?
Working within our Health & Safety Department, you will play a key role in ensuring that all our sites meet H&S requirements across our five operational departments. Additionally, you will collaborate with Project Managers to ensure the project runs on schedule in a safe manner, with all site staff appropriately aligned to their respective levels. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with pre-construction information;
- Compiling construction phase plans;
- Producing project site files;
- Undertaking site inspections;
- Producing method statements and risk assessments;
- Providing the business with competent health and safety advice;
- Reviewing surveys and reports;
- Carry out toolbox talks;
- Ensuring compliance with the company’s ISO 45001 and 14001 standards and systems;
- Carry out accident and incident investigations;
What will I need?
At KEY everyone works as a team to achieve quality work delivered to our clients, this is something we look for in all our people and is essential in this role.
- Minimum Tech IOSH. NEBOSH General/Construction,
- CSCS card
- IEMA & APS
- Strong working knowledge of the CDM 2015 regulations
- Experience in the construction/M&E/retail sectors
